Information: These replacement pads are specifically designed to be used with Smarts4you 300mm 4pot calipers.
Ferodo racing brake pads are designed for low- and high-speed braking efficiency, reduced stopping distances and the consistent brake pedal feel that racing riders need first time, every time.
Ferodo DS2500 racing brake pads represent a new generation of friction material thats low in compressibility, ensuring a firm pedal while providing great disc and pad life.
These pads were developed with characteristics that make them perfect for track days, including a consistent coefficient of friction (0.50) at any temperature, providing very predictable braking and great pedal modulation. Combined with low wheel dusting and good noise characteristics, this product is the brake pad for the driver who needs the highest track-day braking performance.
The main characteristics of Ferodo DS2500 Pad are:
- Race developed
- Performs equally well on heavy and light cars
- 20% less pad wear than competitive products
- Minimal bedding-in. Supplied ready to use
- Disc friendly
- Consistent friction level with changing temperatures and speeds to give optimal pedal modulation
- High friction level at low temperature (good cold braking)
- High friction level at very high temperatures

Will it fit my car?
This kit is built for the car named in the listing, and the generation matters: hub design and caliper bracketry are car-specific. If your car is near a facelift year or an unusual variant, send us the registration and we will confirm before you order.
Will it clear my wheels?
Minimum wheel diameter depends on the kit, and spoke depth on your specific wheels decides real clearance. Tell us the kit and your wheel model, ideally with a photo, and we will confirm the fit before you order.
Which pad compound should I run?
It depends on use, not on the kit. Our guide on brake pad compounds explains the choices in plain terms, and for circuit use our track day brake prep guide covers pads, fluid, and bedding in.
Every brake kit here is built to order
We do not keep big brake kits on a shelf. Each one is put together for your car in the disc face, caliper colour and specification you choose when you order, so nothing is made until the order is placed. The site shows these as available because we can take the order and start it, not because it is boxed and waiting.
How long it takes
Brembo GT kits are made in Italy and run around six to eight weeks. Our UK built kits are quicker, and the exact time depends on the caliper and disc combination you pick. Ring us on 0115 989 3488 before you order and we will give you the current lead time for the kit you are looking at, not a general one.
Working to a date
If the car is booked in, or it is off the road, tell us the date when you call. We will tell you straight whether the kit will make it, and what the alternatives are if it will not.
Worth two minutes before you order
Wheel clearance catches people out. Send us your wheel make, size and offset and we will read it against the caliper clearance drawing first, because a kit that is already being built for you is not something we can simply swap.
