Delivery information
Most brake kits are built for one specific car after you order. This page covers delivery costs, current lead times, tracking and orders shipping directly from a manufacturer.
UK delivery is free on orders over £100 and charged at checkout below that. Stocked items move in days, made to order kits in weeks. International is quoted individually. Every delivery date we give is an estimate.

How long it takes
The honest answer is that it depends on whether the part exists yet.
Stocked discs and pads
A few days. These come off a shelf, so they behave like any other parcel.
Made to order brake kits
Several weeks. Big brake kits and braking components are largely hand made to order for a specific vehicle, and the manufacturer’s build queue sets the date rather than us.
Bespoke discs
Longest of the lot, and quoted per job. These are made to your specification because nothing off the shelf fits.
If you need it by a date
Send us the product code before you buy and we will check the current lead time. Every date published otherwise is an estimate and not a term of the contract.
Any delivery time or date given by the company is an estimate only and not a term of the contract. The company shall not be liable for any loss or damage in respect of any delay in delivery, however arising. If at the time of order the goods are not immediately available for delivery, the company shall deliver them when they become available, unless otherwise requested in writing by the customer at the time of order.
Tracking your order
Shortly after ordering you get an email and an SMS with your five digit invoice number, the invoice itself and an estimated delivery time. That number is what to quote if you ring us.
We use Aftership for tracking. Download the app and every GSM parcel appears in one list with push notifications, whichever courier is carrying it. It is free and has no adverts.
We also trace every pending order each Monday and pass on the manufacturer’s latest position for made-to-order kits.
Delivering outside the UK
Contact us for a bespoke delivery quotation for anywhere outside the UK. We use the specialists Kuehne and Nagel for international orders. At the point of collection and dispatch a copy of the label and a tracking link are sent with your dispatch notes so you can follow the progress.
Our postage and packaging quotations cover the cost of getting the goods to your destination. They do not cover domestic import customs charges, which may apply after delivery and are payable by you.
Christmas and other holiday periods
Worth reading in October rather than in December.
Factory queues lengthen from the start of November. Where a kit is not already in stock the lead time can extend by several weeks, and orders placed from around 2 December onwards may not be available until after Christmas. The same applies to other major holiday periods.
If you need something for a date, ring us before you order and we will tell you honestly whether it is achievable.
To protect you against online fraud, in accordance with PayPal selling regulations and in line with FCA requirements on credit applications, we can only deliver to the address specified at the point of checkout. We cannot change that address after payment has completed and the card or credit security checks have passed. Check your order before you pay.
Common questions about delivery
How long will delivery take?▾
It depends entirely on the product. Stocked discs and pads are usually a few days. Big brake kits and braking components are largely custom hand made to order and run to several weeks. Send us the product code before you buy and we will give you a realistic date for that specific item rather than a range.
Is UK delivery free?▾
Free on UK orders over £100, which most brake kits clear comfortably. Below that the charge is worked out at checkout.
How do I track my order?▾
Shortly after ordering you get an email and an SMS with your five digit invoice number, the invoice and an estimated delivery time. We use Aftership, so every parcel appears in one place regardless of courier. We also run a full track and trace on all pending orders each Monday.
Can you deliver to my garage?▾
Yes. Put the garage or workshop address in as the delivery address at checkout. On a kit you are not fitting yourself it is often the sensible choice.
Can I change my delivery address after ordering?▾
No. In line with PayPal selling regulations and FCA requirements on credit applications, we can only deliver to the address given at checkout, and it cannot be changed once payment and the security checks have gone through. Check it before you pay.
Will everything arrive together?▾
Most orders ship as a single package. Where one component becomes available ahead of the others we may send those separately, and we will tell you at the point of dispatch.
Do you deliver outside the UK?▾
Yes, but it is quoted individually rather than priced at checkout. Contact us with the kit and the destination and we will come back with a figure. International orders go through Kuehne and Nagel and you get the label and tracking with your dispatch notes.
Is the delivery date I was given guaranteed?▾
No. Any delivery date or time we give is an estimate and not a term of the contract, and we are not liable for loss caused by a delay. If an item is not available when you order, we deliver it when it becomes available unless you asked otherwise in writing at the time of order.
Ask before you order, not after
Send us the product code and we will check the current lead time. On a made-to-order kit that can be the difference between a fortnight and two months.
