Information: These replacement pads are specifically designed to be used with Hi Spec Monster 6 calipers.
MINTEX developed a precise proportioning steel fibre reinforcing the coherence of the various components and offer a higher mechanical resistance. The brass and copper fibres get the level of friction and a perfect lubrication when the brakes reach the very high temperatures. It results from it a better performance, more power, and more endurance.
What allures so much the pilots, it is a good " grip ", speed of the answer (weak travel of the pedal), the constancy of the pressure necessary on the pedal, and the absence of fading. Moreover, they appreciate much that there is neither metal deposit on the discs.
- M1144 quality: Mainly used for fast road use and is primarily targeted at hot hatch drivers. Constant level of friction in a large range of temperature.
- M1155 quality: A unique formulation enabling use at temperatures up to 700°. Gives first time braking with no special bedding requirements.
- M1166 quality: Originally developed for circuit raçing, this material has a stable coefficient of friction up to 800°C used extensively in group A rallying.
Pricing: Product pricing is for a set of replacement pads to fit 2 brake calipers (1 full conversion)

Are these the right pads for my calipers?
Pad shapes are caliper-specific, so match this listing to the caliper named in it. If you are unsure which caliper you run, send us a photo and we will confirm the right pad before you order.
Which compound should I choose?
By use, not by badge: fast road, track day, and race compounds behave very differently cold and hot. Our guide on brake pad compounds explained walks through the choice honestly, and bedding in matters, which our brake prep guide covers.
Every brake kit here is built to order
We do not keep big brake kits on a shelf. Each one is put together for your car in the disc face, caliper colour and specification you choose when you order, so nothing is made until the order is placed. The site shows these as available because we can take the order and start it, not because it is boxed and waiting.
How long it takes
Brembo GT kits are made in Italy and run around six to eight weeks. Our UK built kits are quicker, and the exact time depends on the caliper and disc combination you pick. Ring us on 0115 989 3488 before you order and we will give you the current lead time for the kit you are looking at, not a general one.
Working to a date
If the car is booked in, or it is off the road, tell us the date when you call. We will tell you straight whether the kit will make it, and what the alternatives are if it will not.
Worth two minutes before you order
Wheel clearance catches people out. Send us your wheel make, size and offset and we will read it against the caliper clearance drawing first, because a kit that is already being built for you is not something we can simply swap.
