A Brembo GT big brake system built for the Subaru Legacy 2.5I, 2010 to 2014, front axle. The discs are 332x32mm 2-piece.
GT|A calipers are the two piece design derived from Brembo’s original equipment applications. They are the most straightforward of the GT calipers to install and suit road cars that see occasional track use.
Four piston caliper, used on front and rear axles depending on the application.
Disc face: available cross-drilled or Type 3 slotted. Type 3 slots are the pattern Brembo uses in professional motorsport. They give a strong initial bite and keep the pad face clean as it beds in.
Caliper finish: Black, Red or Silver. The finish is set by the last digit of the part number, so tell us which one you want with the order.
What is in the kit: 4 piston aluminium calipers, 332mm 2-piece discs with bells, Brembo pads, caliper mounting brackets, braided brake lines and the fitting hardware. Contents vary slightly by application, so check the part number against the list below.

The last character sets the caliper finish or the line. 1 is black, 2 red, 3 silver, 4 gold, 5 yellow, 6 white, 7 fluorescent yellow. S is a GT-S caliper and R is a GT-R caliper.
Wheel clearance is the thing to check first. A 332mm disc with this caliper needs a specific wheel offset and spoke shape, and the requirement for a GT-R caliper is different from the GT version. Send us your wheel size, offset and make and we will read the clearance drawing against it before anything is ordered.

Brake work is safety critical. Brembo asks that these systems are installed by a qualified technician, and the kit must be checked, bled and road tested to the instructions supplied with it before the car is driven.
Which kit would you actually recommend for this car?
We wrote it up properly: Our Top Recommended Big Brake Upgrade Kits For Your Subaru Legacy compares the kits we rate for this car across budgets, from our own fitting experience. Worth five minutes before you decide.
Will it fit my car?
This kit is built for the car named in the listing, and the generation matters: hub design, hub bell shape, and caliper bracketry are car-specific even when the disc size looks the same. If your car is near a facelift year or an unusual variant, send us the registration and we will confirm the exact kit before you order.
Will it clear my wheels?
Minimum wheel diameter depends on the kit, and spoke depth on your specific wheels decides real clearance at that diameter. Tell us the kit and your wheel model, ideally with a photo, and we will confirm the fit before you order.
Which pad compound should I run?
It depends on use, not on the kit: fast road, track day, and race compounds behave very differently when cold and when worked hard. Our guide on brake pad compounds explains the choices for these kits in plain terms, and heading to a circuit, our track day brake prep guide covers pads, fluid, and bedding in.
Every brake kit here is built to order
We do not keep big brake kits on a shelf. Each one is put together for your car in the disc face, caliper colour and specification you choose when you order, so nothing is made until the order is placed. The site shows these as available because we can take the order and start it, not because it is boxed and waiting.
How long it takes
Brembo GT kits are made in Italy and run around six to eight weeks. Our UK built kits are quicker, and the exact time depends on the caliper and disc combination you pick. Ring us on 0115 989 3488 before you order and we will give you the current lead time for the kit you are looking at, not a general one.
Working to a date
If the car is booked in, or it is off the road, tell us the date when you call. We will tell you straight whether the kit will make it, and what the alternatives are if it will not.
Worth two minutes before you order
Wheel clearance catches people out. Send us your wheel make, size and offset and we will read it against the caliper clearance drawing first, because a kit that is already being built for you is not something we can simply swap.
