A Brembo GT-R big brake system built for the BMW 330i xDrive Granturismo / Touring (excluding M-Sport Brakes) (F31 / F34), 2017 to 2018, front axle. The discs are 355x32mm 2-piece.
GT|R calipers are billet machined and hard anodised, with racing style piston radiators and recessed dust seals. The Brembo logo is engraved and filled red, as on Brembo’s competition calipers. This is the top of the GT range.
Six piston caliper, the usual choice for a performance saloon or coupe front axle.
Disc face: available cross-drilled or Type 3 slotted. Type 3 slots are the pattern Brembo uses in professional motorsport. They give a strong initial bite and keep the pad face clean as it beds in.
What is in the kit: 6 piston aluminium calipers, 355mm 2-piece discs with bells, Brembo pads, caliper mounting brackets, braided brake lines and the fitting hardware. Contents vary slightly by application, so check the part number against the list below.

The last character sets the caliper finish or the line. 1 is black, 2 red, 3 silver, 4 gold, 5 yellow, 6 white, 7 fluorescent yellow. S is a GT-S caliper and R is a GT-R caliper.
Wheel clearance is the thing to check first. A 355mm disc with this caliper needs a specific wheel offset and spoke shape, and the requirement for a GT-R caliper is different from the GT version. Send us your wheel size, offset and make and we will read the clearance drawing against it before anything is ordered.

Brake work is safety critical. Brembo asks that these systems are installed by a qualified technician, and the kit must be checked, bled and road tested to the instructions supplied with it before the car is driven.
Will it fit my car?
This kit is built for the BMW 330i xDrive Granturismo / Touring (excluding M-Sport Brakes) (F31 / F34), 2017 to 2018, front axle. The generation matters: hub design, hub bell shape and caliper brackets are car-specific even when the disc size looks the same. If your car is near a facelift year or an unusual variant, send us the registration and we will confirm the exact kit before you order.
Will it clear my wheels?
Wheel clearance is the first thing to check. A 355mm disc with this caliper needs a specific wheel offset and spoke shape, and the clearance drawing for this kit, with the A, B and C dimensions, is in the downloads on this page. Send us your wheel size, offset and make and we will read the drawing against it before anything is ordered.

What is the GT-R caliper?
GT-R calipers are billet machined and hard anodised, with racing style piston radiators and recessed dust seals. The Brembo logo is engraved and filled red, as on Brembo's competition calipers. This is the top of the GT range. This kit uses the 6-piston monobloc caliper.
Which disc face can I have?
The discs come cross-drilled or Type 3 slotted.
Which pad compound should I run?
It depends on use, not on the kit: fast road, track day and race compounds behave very differently when cold and when worked hard. Our guide on brake pad compounds explains the choices in plain terms, and if you are heading to a circuit, our track day brake prep guide covers pads, fluid and bedding in.
Do I need to upgrade the rear at the same time?
No. The front does the large majority of the braking, so a front kit alone is the normal first step and a balanced one. Upgrade the rear later if you want matched looks or you are building for sustained track work, and if the car has an electronic parking brake, read our guide on big brake kits and electronic handbrakes before planning that side.
Every brake kit here is built to order
We do not keep big brake kits on a shelf. Each one is put together for your car in the disc face, caliper colour and specification you choose when you order, so nothing is made until the order is placed. The site shows these as available because we can take the order and start it, not because it is boxed and waiting.
How long it takes
Brembo GT kits are made in Italy and run around six to eight weeks. Our UK built kits are quicker, and the exact time depends on the caliper and disc combination you pick. Ring us on 0115 647 8650 before you order and we will give you the current lead time for the kit you are looking at, not a general one.
Working to a date
If the car is booked in, or it is off the road, tell us the date when you call. We will tell you straight whether the kit will make it, and what the alternatives are if it will not.
Worth two minutes before you order
Wheel clearance catches people out. Send us your wheel make, size and offset and we will read it against the caliper clearance drawing first, because a kit that is already being built for you is not something we can simply swap.
