TAROX Brake Kits

TAROX sells full conversions as well as discs and pads. Check which type of product is in the listing before comparing caliper or disc options.

For a conversion kit, request or use the correct wheel-clearance template. TAROX advises checking clearance before installation even where a kit usually fits an original wheel.

Brake buying check: The TAROX fitting guide says each kit is engineered for a specific vehicle application and should be installed by somebody experienced with disc brake systems. It also calls for checks on the existing suspension, bearings and related parts. Kit contents normally cover both corners, but read the exact product and packing list. Follow the current TAROX bedding sequence supplied for the kit rather than a routine copied from another pad maker. Disc groove direction, hose routing, fastener torque and bedding are instruction-led jobs. Keep the supplied manual with the installer.

Brake work is safety critical. Use a suitably experienced installer and the current vehicle and component instructions. Do not drive the car until the system has been checked, bled and tested as those documents require.
