D2 Brake Kits

D2 listings cover different caliper, disc and vehicle specifications. Do not choose from piston count or wheel diameter alone.

Open the exact car listing and send us the year, engine, axle, existing brakes and wheel details. We will confirm the available D2 specification and whether a clearance template is required.

Brake buying check: Read the complete application and part number. Confirm the disc diameter and thickness, caliper profile, pad shape, bracket, hose and included fitting hardware. The wheel must clear the caliper at the spokes and barrel, not merely accept the disc diameter. Installation, bleeding, fastener torque and bedding should follow the current documents supplied for that D2 kit and the vehicle workshop information. A larger piston count does not automatically make a kit better for the car. Piston areas, effective disc radius, pad compound and system balance work together.

Brake work is safety critical. Use a suitably experienced installer and the current vehicle and component instructions. Do not drive the car until the system has been checked, bled and tested as those documents require.
