Big Brake Kits

Start with the exact car. A full big brake kit normally changes the caliper and disc together, but the contents and fitting work vary by part number.

Choose the make and model below, then check the year, engine, axle and original brake setup. Send wheel photographs or use the maker’s clearance template before payment. Most conversion kits are built to order.

Brake buying check: Wheel diameter alone does not prove clearance. The inside barrel and the back of the spokes must clear the complete caliper profile, and that clearance needs checking through the correct wheel fitment. Confirm whether the listing includes pads, hoses, brackets, bells and fixing hardware. Have the kit installed by somebody experienced with hydraulic brake systems, using the vehicle manual and the kit instructions. Do not mix brackets, calipers or discs from another application because the names look similar. Ask us to confirm the complete part number.

Brembo, TAROX and Hi Spec all publish application or fitting information that calls for exact fitment and clearance checks.

Brake work is safety critical. Use a suitably experienced installer and the current vehicle and component instructions. Do not drive the car until the system has been checked, bled and tested as those documents require.
