Brake buying check: Match the exact model and option notes. Check disc and pad capacity, pedal response, brake balance, replacement consumables and wheel clearance as a system rather than shopping by piston count. A modified car needs its hubs, uprights and current brackets identified first. Use the correct caliper template against every wheel set. For track work, confirm the organiser or competition rules and use the kit and friction-material instructions supplied for that application.
