Honda Brake Kits
Civic generations and Type R variants use different hubs, calipers and discs. A Civic badge or wheel diameter cannot identify the correct brake conversion.
Select the model below and send the chassis or generation, year, engine, axle and current brake details. Add photographs of the wheel face and the space behind its spokes.
Brake buying check: Read the full year and variant range on the product page. Standard, Sport and Type R models may need different brackets or kits. Modified Hondas often have calipers or hubs from another model, so inspect what is fitted rather than relying on the registration when the history is incomplete. Check the maker’s template against the actual wheel and follow the kit instructions for hose routing, torque and bedding. A caliper swap already on the car changes the starting point. Tell us before ordering a vehicle-specific kit.
Current manufacturer application and fitting documents take priority over a general Honda category description.
Brake work is safety critical. Use a suitably experienced installer and the current vehicle and component instructions. Do not drive the car until the system has been checked, bled and tested as those documents require.
