Modern MINI applications need the R or F chassis code, not just Cooper or Cooper S. The generation, engine, axle and original brake package decide where the search starts.

Brake buying check: Match the complete chassis, variant and year notes on the product page. JCW, Cooper S and standard versions may use different starting hardware. A kit for one R-series or F-series car is not proof of fitment across the whole generation. Test the maker’s caliper profile against the actual wheel at the spokes and barrel. Keep modern BMW MINI and Classic Mini enquiries separate. Their hubs, uprights and conversion routes are unrelated.

Use the current kit application, wheel-clearance drawing and fitting instructions for the selected part number.

Brake work is safety critical. Use a suitably experienced installer and the current vehicle and component instructions. Do not drive the car until the system has been checked, bled and tested as those documents require.
