Our Top Recommended Big Brake Upgrade Kits For Your Fiat Coupe
The Fiat Coupe catalogue is listed by engine, which would be straightforward if all four engines had the same disc sizes available. They do not. The 20V Turbo has one kit in the Tarox range: the 310mm Sport. The 16V Turbo has the 305mm and 330mm but nothing at 310mm or 318mm. The naturally aspirated 1.8 16V and 2.0 16V have the widest spread, across all five sizes from 305mm to 340mm. If you are looking at this page for a specific engine, the first question is which sizes are on the table for your car.
Ten kits from Tarox for the Fiat Coupe, five disc sizes. No HiSpec listing exists for this car. Every Tarox kit arrives complete: Corsa performance pads fitted in the calipers, vehicle-specific braided hoses in the box, mounting brackets and all fitting hardware included. The full Fiat Coupe range is on the site if you want to browse it raw.
- Ten Tarox kits across five disc sizes; no HiSpec coverage for the Fiat Coupe
- 305mm and 310mm Sport clear 16-inch wheels; 318mm and 330mm need 17 inch; 340mm Super Sport needs 18 inch
- Corsa pads and vehicle-specific braided hoses included in every kit
- Engine decides which disc sizes are on the table: 20V Turbo has one kit, 16V Turbo has two
- 318mm Sport costs less than the 310mm despite the bigger disc

Tarox: the only brand for the Fiat Coupe
HiSpec do not list a kit for the Fiat Coupe. The ten kits on this page are all from Tarox, built at the factory in northern Italy. Every caliper is CNC machined from European billet alloy, hand assembled and individually tested. Discs are heat treated, CNC faced and hand balanced to 0.05mm. ABS and ESP compatibility is stated across the range.
Tarox Sport
Nine of the ten Fiat Coupe kits are in the Sport range: B32 six-piston calipers across five disc sizes from 305mm to 330mm. The B32 is Tarox's core road and fast road caliper, made in Italy from billet aluminium, with sequential piston sizing for even pad contact. Every Sport kit arrives with Corsa pads fitted and vehicle-specific braided hoses in the box. Caliper finish: black, red, blue, green or gold anodised.
Tarox Super Sport (340mm)
The 340mm kit is the Super Sport, Tarox's higher-grade fast road and track caliper. The listing title says 10pot; the description and caliper code confirm B34GT/B360 with 8 sequential pistons. It is a more substantial caliper than the B32, the disc steps to 340mm, and 18-inch wheels are required. Listed for the naturally aspirated 16V engines; turbo owners should ring us before ordering. External link: tarox.com.
The engine in the title
Tarox list the Fiat Coupe by engine variant, not by year. That matters here because the four engines do not share the same set of disc sizes.
The 1.8 16V and 2.0 16V naturally aspirated engines have the fullest coverage: 305mm, 310mm, 318mm, 330mm and 340mm are all listed for one or both of those engines. The 16V Turbo has 305mm and 330mm, but there is no 310mm or 318mm listed for that engine in the current catalogue. The 20V Turbo has one kit: the 310mm Sport.
The 340mm Super Sport is listed for “Fiat Coupe 16V” with no turbo suffix. That is consistent with Tarox’s practice of listing the 16V Turbo separately where covered (which they do at 305mm and 330mm), so the 340mm almost certainly applies to the naturally aspirated 16V engines only. Turbo owners wanting the 340mm should confirm with us before ordering.
Wheel sizes across the range
Minimum wheel diameter comes from Tarox’s published figures on tarox.co.uk, looked up per kit. The 305mm and 310mm Sport kits clear 16-inch wheels. From 318mm up, 17 inches are required. The 340mm Super Sport needs 18 inch. One kit (310mm 2.0 16V, KMFI0358-COU) has no active tarox.co.uk page, so its wheel size is listed as ask us; both sibling 310mm listings confirm 16 inch and the disc and caliper are identical.
| Kit | Disc | Minimum wheel | Price inc VAT |
|---|---|---|---|
| 305mm Sport (16V Turbo) | 305 x 28mm | 16 inch | £1,860.66 |
| 310mm Sport (1.8 16V, 20V Turbo) | 310 x 26mm | 16 inch | £2,094.00 |
| 310mm Sport (2.0 16V) | 310 x 26mm | Ask us | £2,094.00 |
| 318mm Sport (1.8 16V, 2.0 16V) | 318 x 26mm | 17 inch | £2,020.00 (*) |
| 330mm Sport (1.8 16V, 2.0 16V, 16V Turbo) | 330 x 26mm | 17 inch | £2,280.00 |
| 340mm Super Sport (16V) | 340 x 26mm | 18 inch | £2,670.00 |
305mm Sport: 16-inch entry kit for the 16V Turbo
The 305mm is the only disc size in this range listed specifically for the 16V Turbo. There is no 305mm listing for the naturally aspirated engines. At £1,860.66 inc VAT, it is the cheapest kit on this page and it clears a 16-inch wheel. The disc is 305x28mm, which is actually thicker than the 310mm kit above it (28mm versus 26mm). The caliper is the B32 six-piston.
For a 16V Turbo on standard or aftermarket 16-inch wheels, this is where Garreth would start. The kit covers the brake hardware needed for the turbocharged engine without requiring larger wheels. Corsa pads arrive already fitted, braided hoses are in the box, and you choose caliper colour at order.
- £1,860.66 inc VAT (cheapest kit on this page)
- Clears 16-inch wheels
- 305 x 28mm disc, B32 six-piston caliper
- Listed for the Fiat Coupe 16V Turbo only
- Corsa pads fitted, vehicle-specific braided hoses included
310mm Sport: 16-inch kit for the 1.8 16V, 2.0 16V and 20V Turbo
The 310mm Sport covers the widest range of engines on this page. Three separate listings exist: one for the 1.8 16V, one for the 2.0 16V and one for the 20V Turbo. All three are at £2,094.00 inc VAT, 310x26mm disc, B32 six-piston caliper, 16-inch minimum wheel. For the naturally aspirated engines this is the entry point, since there is no 305mm naturally aspirated listing. For the 20V Turbo, it is the only kit in this catalogue.
The two listings above show the 1.8 16V and the 20V Turbo. The 2.0 16V listing (KMFI0358-COU) also exists at the same price and spec; it has no current tarox.co.uk page so its wheel size is listed as ask us in the table above, but both sibling listings confirm 16 inch at this disc and caliper combination. If your car is the 2.0 16V, ring us and Cameron will confirm fitment before you order.
- £2,094.00 inc VAT (three engine listings, same price)
- Clears 16-inch wheels (1.8 16V and 20V Turbo confirmed; 2.0 16V ask us)
- 310 x 26mm disc, B32 six-piston caliper
- Only kit in the catalogue for the 20V Turbo; entry kit for the naturally aspirated engines
- Corsa pads fitted, vehicle-specific braided hoses included
318mm Sport: 17 inch, and cheaper than the 310mm
The 318mm Sport is available for the 1.8 16V and the 2.0 16V. There is no 318mm listing for either turbo engine. At £2,020.00 inc VAT, the 318mm costs £74 less than the 310mm kit despite the bigger 318x26mm disc and the same B32 six-piston caliper. That pricing is correct on the site and it is worth knowing: if the car is already on 17-inch wheels, the 318mm is the natural choice over the 310mm.
The one condition is wheel size. The 318mm needs a 17-inch minimum; the 310mm clears 16 inch. On a car running standard or smaller-profile wheels, the 310mm may be the better fit. On a car already on 17s, the 318mm gives more disc for less money and there is no good reason to look at the 310mm first.
- £2,020.00 inc VAT (£74 less than the 310mm, bigger disc)
- Requires 17-inch wheels
- 318 x 26mm disc, B32 six-piston caliper
- Listed for the 1.8 16V and 2.0 16V; no listing exists for the turbo engines at this size
- Corsa pads fitted, vehicle-specific braided hoses included
330mm Sport: 17 inch, covering three engine variants
The 330mm Sport covers three engines: 1.8 16V, 2.0 16V and 16V Turbo. There is no 330mm listing for the 20V Turbo. At £2,280.00 inc VAT it is the most expensive Sport kit in the range, stepping up from the 318mm by 12mm of disc and £260 in price. The disc is 330x26mm, the B32 six-piston caliper throughout, and 17-inch wheels are required.
The two listings above are the 1.8 16V and the 16V Turbo. The 2.0 16V listing (KMFI0544-COU) also exists at the same price; Garreth’s call on a naturally aspirated 2.0 16V at this size is the same as on the 1.8 16V: strong track-day upgrade, the B32 caliper works well with quality pad compounds. Cameron handles the fitment detail and will confirm which listing applies to your engine when you ring.
- £2,280.00 inc VAT
- Requires 17-inch wheels
- 330 x 26mm disc, B32 six-piston caliper
- Covers 1.8 16V, 2.0 16V and 16V Turbo; no listing exists for the 20V Turbo at 330mm
- Corsa pads fitted, vehicle-specific braided hoses included
340mm Super Sport: the eight-piston flagship at 18 inch
The 340mm Super Sport is the top kit in the Fiat Coupe range and the only one that needs 18-inch wheels. The title says 10pot; the description and caliper code both state B34GT/B360, which is Tarox’s 8-piston sequential caliper. We refer to it as eight pistons throughout this guide because that is what the product description confirms. Piston count should come from the description, not the title.
This kit is listed for the Fiat Coupe 16V, which in Tarox’s catalogue refers to the naturally aspirated 16-valve engines. The listing carries no turbo suffix, consistent with how Tarox list turbo variants separately where they cover them. If you own a turbo-engined Coupe and want the 340mm, ring us on 0115 9893488 before ordering and Cameron will confirm whether this bracket application covers your engine. At £2,670.00 inc VAT, pads and hoses are in the box. The caliper is the same dimensions package as other Super Sport applications, in black, red, blue, green or gold anodised finish.
- £2,670.00 inc VAT
- Requires 18-inch wheels
- 340 x 26mm disc, B34GT/B360 8-piston caliper (title says 10pot; description confirms 8)
- Listed for the naturally aspirated Fiat Coupe 16V; turbo owners confirm before ordering
- Corsa pads fitted, vehicle-specific braided hoses included
What is actually in each box

Prices include VAT and were correct on 7 September 2026. Wheel sizes confirmed from Tarox’s published minimum figures on tarox.co.uk, looked up per kit. (*) 318mm Sport lists below the 310mm despite a bigger disc: the price does not track the disc diameter at this size.
Common questions
Which kit fits my 20V Turbo?
The Tarox catalogue lists one kit for the Fiat Coupe 20V Turbo: the 310mm Sport (KMFI0392-COU) at £2,094.00 inc VAT. There is no 305mm, 318mm, 330mm or 340mm listing for the 20V Turbo in the current range. The 310mm Sport is a B32 six-piston kit that clears 16-inch wheels, arrives with Corsa pads and braided hoses, and is a genuine step up over the standard hardware. If you want a larger disc on the 20V Turbo, ring us on 0115 9893488 and we will check with Tarox whether other sizes are available or can be sourced.
Does the 340mm kit really have eight pistons?
Yes. The title reads "10pot" but the product description and the caliper code both confirm B34GT/B360, which is an 8-piston caliper with sequential piston sizing. Tarox's Super Sport range has carried a 10pot designation in older product listings for this caliper model; the current B34GT runs 8 pistons and the description is the authoritative source. We refer to it as eight pistons in this guide.
Why is the 318mm Sport cheaper than the 310mm?
Tarox set prices by bracket tooling cost and disc specification per vehicle application; those costs do not always track the disc diameter in a straight line. The 318mm Sport at £2,020.00 inc VAT lists £74 below the 310mm at £2,094.00 despite a bigger disc and the same B32 caliper. Both prices are correct on the site. If the car is on 17-inch wheels, the 318mm is the logical choice: more disc, lower price, everything in the box.
Is there a HiSpec option for the Coupe?
No. HiSpec do not currently list a kit for the Fiat Coupe. All ten kits on this page are from Tarox. If a HiSpec listing appears in the catalogue in future we will update this guide to include it.
My Coupe is a 16V Turbo. Can I get the 310mm or 318mm?
Not from the current Tarox catalogue. The 310mm and 318mm Sport kits list the 1.8 16V, 2.0 16V and (at 310mm) the 20V Turbo. There is no 16V Turbo listing at either of those sizes. The 16V Turbo has a 305mm option (the entry kit) and a 330mm option. If you specifically need a 310mm or 318mm for the 16V Turbo engine, ring us on 0115 9893488 and Cameron will check with Tarox whether the bracket application can be extended or a different application sourced.
What we would actually fit
On a naturally aspirated 1.8 16V or 2.0 16V on 16-inch wheels, the 310mm Sport at £2,094.00 is where Garreth would start. It is the entry kit for those engines, covers the full axle, and the B32 six-piston caliper with the 310mm disc is a proper step on a car with any power work done. On 17-inch wheels, Garreth’s call shifts to the 318mm at £2,020.00: bigger disc, £74 less, no argument.
For the 16V Turbo on 16-inch wheels, the 305mm at £1,860.66 is the entry point and it does the job. On 17s, the 330mm at £2,280.00 is the only 17-inch option for that engine. For the 20V Turbo, the 310mm Sport is the one kit in the catalogue and it covers what the car needs at that level.
The 340mm Super Sport at £2,670.00 makes sense on a naturally aspirated Coupe built for circuit use on 18-inch wheels. The B34GT caliper is a step up from the B32, the swept area is the largest in the range, and at that point the car is committed to track use. Ring us on 0115 9893488 and Cameron will go through spoke clearance and fitment with you before anything gets ordered.
