Delivery Times

Each product on our website has its own estimated delivery time. This will depend if the product is a stocked main item, if its imported or if it’s a custom hand made product that has options and extras which can take more time to complete.

If you are on a tight deadline for a show, a magazine feature, your car is booked into a garage or any other reason then please contact us first before ordering your products on-line as once the products are put into production cancellation fees may apply.

Direct replacement kits: All the big brake conversion kits we retail are direct bolt on replacement kits. This means that modifications are not required to the vehicle to fit the new rotors and parts. The kits are supplied with vehicle specific caliper brackets which aid in fitment. 

How long should it take to fit each kit? We estimate that 1 hour per side should be more than enough time to complete a fitment. Once you have removed the original OEM parts, the new parts will bolt straight on in their place providing your upgraded braking power instantly. Alternatively we could fit them in our Show room Located just of the A46 near Leicester.

Are replacement parts available? We have a full range of replacement rotors and pads available on-line for our range of Tarox brake conversion kits.

Tarox - Audi TT (8N) All Models 300mm Rear Big Disc Brake Kit

Information: This Tarox 300mm disc conversion kit will fit your Audi TT (8N) All Models. The Tarox big brake kit has been designed to suit most performance cars. To keep the compact kits affordable yet maintain the levels of brake performance associated with a TAROX brake kit most of these kits use single piece discs with O.E specifications which have been heat treated, these kits are designed to use the original caliper which is fitted to the car.

  • This Tarox kit is designed to for your Audi TT (8N) All Models from 1998>2006
  • The Tarox Discs/Rotors supplied with this kit are 300*22mm

 Tarox offer 4 brake disc designs:

  • Tarox C83 - Straight Grooves
  • Tarox D95 - Cross Drilled all holes countersunk for crack reduction
  • Tarox F2000 - Grooved discs ideal for increasing friction between pad and disc increasing pad bite.
  • Tarox Sport Japan Plus - Multi drilled and multi grooved discs. Superb cooling and increased friction for extra pad bite!

 Additional notes: 

 In principle the more the better, the benefit in having multi pistons can be summed up as follows:

  • Perpendicularly distributed pressure on the pads, resulting in more even wear of the brake pad Smaller pistons compared to those used on traditional calipers work perfectly parallel to the piston chambers, thus avoiding wear and loss of brake fluid
  • Increased cooling action of the pads, due to more airflow behind the pad’s back plate
  • Less stress factor on the caliper itself
  • More clamping action resulting in more braking power due to the presence of more pistons
  • Firmer pedal
